The ideal candidate combines solid financial modeling, valuation, and economic analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical and commercial data and convert these into sound project assumptions. This person should demonstrate strong financial judgment, thrive in a fastmoving environment, and be motivated to contribute directly to the company's growth and the success of its projects.

Key Responsibilities:

    * Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and risk analyses to support informed decisionmaking.

  2. Capital Project Evaluation / TechnoEconomic Analysis (TEA)
    * Develop financial models to evaluate sustainable fuel production projects across varying plant designs, feedstocks, product outputs, and site conditions.
    * Assess model results in alignment with company goals, including validating assumptions, optimizing models, and conducting TEA.
    * Work closely with engineering and technical teams to gather and verify accurate model inputs.
    * Calculate and interpret metrics such as ROI, NPV, IRR, payback period, DSCR, and LCOP.
    * Create internal modeling tools/templates for faster scenario testing and train selected staff to use them.

  3. Strategic Insights & Reporting
    * Present clear financial forecasts, insights, and recommendations to senior leaders.
    * Produce dashboards and visual reports integrating financial and TEA data for ongoing project tracking.

  4. Continuous Improvement & Industry Knowledge
    * Enhance analytical processes by incorporating best practices and advancements in project economic evaluation.
    * Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting capital project economics.

  5. Budgeting & Forecasting
    * Support development of budgets, forecasts, and longrange plans for capital projects, ensuring alignment with financial and technical considerations.
    * Monitor project financial performance and explain deviations versus budget and TEA expectations.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field.
* At least 4 years of experience in financial modeling for capital infrastructure projects, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or investment banking environments.
* Advanced Excel modeling capability; Power BI or TEAspecific tools are a plus.
* Strong grasp of financial principles including structured, offbalancesheet, limitedrecourse or nonrecourse financing.
* Skilled at interpreting model inputs, analyzing large datasets, and applying accounting knowledge.

Soft Skills:
* Highly analytical, curious, and solutionoriented.
* Able to communicate complex financial and technical information clearly and succinctly.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines.
* Collaborative, energetic, adaptable, and able to influence decisions across teams.
