Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the implementation of the VariFlight system solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to travel frequently to client sites. This role requires managing multiple projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Pre-Sales Support:

o Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet those requirements.

o Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients existing systems, infrastructure, and API integrations.

o Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.

· Technical Diagnosis and Analysis:

o Evaluate the current state of clients IT environment to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

o Analyse technical requirements and diagnose issues related to system performance, compatibility, and integration.

o Provide detailed technical recommendations and solutions to address identified issues.

· Project Planning and Management:

o Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.

o Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

o Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Team Leadership and Coordination:

o Lead cross-functional project teams, including technical, sales, and support staff.

o Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.

o Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

· Client Engagement and Communication:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

o Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.

o Ensure clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders.

· Implementation Oversight:

o Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.

o Coordinate with technical teams to address any issues or challenges that arise during implementation.

o Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

· Risk Management:

o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

o Proactively manage project risks and issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.

o Maintain a risk register and update it regularly to reflect the current status of risks and mitigation efforts.

· Travel and On-Site Work:

o Travel to client sites as needed to oversee project activities, conduct assessments, and facilitate implementation.

o Work closely with clients on-site to ensure a thorough understanding of their environment and needs.

· Documentation and Reporting:

o Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

o Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and performance.

o Ensure all documentation is accurately translated and understood in both English and Mandarin.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the aviation or technology sectors.

· Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.

· A strong understanding of aviation systems and airport operations is a plus.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to travel frequently and work on-site with clients as required.

· Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).

Preferred Skills:

· Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

· Experience with agile project management methodologies.

· Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

· Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
