We are assisting our client, an established global technology service provider, to seek a suitably qualified project manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the start-to-finish delivery of projects
- Accountable for the delivery of projects of high quality, within budget, and according to the agreed schedule and users requirements
- Actively plan and manage project scope, schedules, and resources on the project
- Monitor resource utilization to facilitate planning & scheduling of resources
- Lead diverse teams of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Identify, assess, and manage the risks of the project and take appropriate mitigation actions
- Manage project scope creep and mitigate it when it occurs, manage changes in users requirements according to Change Control processes, schedule slippage, technical problems, and shortages of resources
- Ensure timely submission of reports for projects
- Work closely with clients to ensure the timely closure of contractual milestones for billing
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years in IT Project Management (preferably mid to large-scale ICT projects)
- Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science or related
- Technically competent with strong knowledge of networking, cloud, and security systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Project and time management skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- IT and Project Management Certifications - PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, CITPM, PMI-ACP
