Project Manager (Switchgear)

Responsibilities

The Project Manager (HV/MV Switchgear) will manage assigned high voltage and medium voltage switchgear projects in Singapore from contract award through commissioning, handover, and closeout. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety, quality, and client specifications. Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
• Min 5 years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects, with 2 years in project management or project engineering capacity
• Hands-on experience in HV/MV switchgear projects (e.g. 22kV / 6.6kV MV 66kV / 230kV / 400kV HV - AIS/GIS)
• Familiar with FAT/SAT coordination, commissioning, and energisation processes
• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost tracking, and progress reporting
• Familiar with Singapore electrical safety regulations and WSH standards
• PMP certification is an advantage
