JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a hands-on and driven Project Manager who can take ownership of our digital solutions projects from start to finish, keep teams aligned, and deliver results that matter. You'll work closely with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders, managing scope, risks, resources, and timelines to ensure projects hit the mark. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves leading teams, solving challenges, and making an immediate impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
Manage risks, issues, and changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
Track and communicate project development status, progress, and updates to stakeholders.
Run user education campaigns to drive product adoption post-release.
Conduct and support thorough systems, users, and security tests pre-release
Provide product support and work with relevant teams to identify and fix bugs
Team Management
Lead and motivate project teams to ensure high performance and quality standards.
Allocate and manage resources effectively across multiple projects.
Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching and support to team members.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Understand client requirements and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Partner with relevant stakeholders to conduct user interviews, run sprint plannings, scrum retrospectives
Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Address any client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Ensure that delivery processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Financial Management
Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
Ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness of delivery operations.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
Quality Assurance
Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Implement quality control processes and methodologies.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of delivery processes and outcomes.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and present regular status reports, performance metrics, and project documentation.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science or engineering-related.
Proven working experience in project management or scrum master, demonstrating good knowledge of the complete project life cycle.
Project Management experience in related products & industries will be an added advantage.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project
Outstanding project management capabilities and in-depth knowledge of fundamental PM principles (i.e. estimating and planning, risk management, status reporting, budget tracking, benefits analysis, stakeholder management and communication, resource management) and able to apply them independently in complex situations
Experience in building digital products preferred
Proven track record of delivering effective products with limited resources.
End to end experience working with product teams to build products.
Strong communication skills with positive attitude including conveying complex issues concisely and accurately, documentation, minute taking and technical writing
Excellent interpersonal skills ability to build productive working relationships and influence
Strong leadership skills able to build and maintain high-performing teams
Excellent analytical skills to be able to assess problems thoroughly and drive logical conclusions
Confident and comfortable with interacting with senior executives without being tempted to dilute unpleasant news or back down from well-reasoned analysis
Credible and ability to work well with team members of diversified background.
Pro-active and willing to learn new skills and knowledge
To be able to multi-task and plan effectively when working with a variety of project teams in an often high-pressure, competitive environment
Project Management Professional (PMP), ScrumMaster (CSM), Business Analyst and Product Owner certification is a plus
