Provide engineering support and assist in maintaining existing client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
Support tender preparation activities for newbuilding, conversion, and ship repair projects.
Review contracts, technical specifications, and equipment requirements to ensure compliance with project and design obligations.
Develop preliminary design concepts and technical proposals for tender submissions.
Prepare drawing schedules and coordinate technical discussions with clients, classification societies, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
Execute design and engineering activities for awarded projects in accordance with project schedules and requirements.
Interpret applicable classification rules, maritime regulations, and industry standards.
Review and analyze engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing assigned responsibilities independently when required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience within the marine, offshore, or shipbuilding industry.
Good understanding of shipbuilding, vessel conversion, and project execution processes.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and engage in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
Willingness to travel internationally for project meetings and site visits as required.
