Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to oversee the implementation of advanced SCADA and control system solutions within rail and metro infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for driving full project lifecycle execution across local and overseas deployments, ensuring delivery excellence across safety, cost, timeline, and quality benchmarks, while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of full lifecycle project delivery for rail-related SCADA and control system initiatives.
- Plan and steer project execution strategies, covering timelines, financials, manpower allocation, and deliverables.
- Lead coordination across multiple functions including design, procurement, site execution, testing, commissioning, and third-party vendors.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and project partners as the key representative for project matters.
- Anticipate project risks, technical dependencies, and integration challenges, and implement mitigation strategies early.
- Ensure all activities are aligned with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
- Handle contract administration aspects such as variation orders, claims, and scope adjustments.
- Track and report project health, including schedule adherence, cost performance, and key risk areas to leadership.
- Promote delivery excellence through structured processes, continuous improvements, and application of past project insights.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Around 10 years or more of experience managing complex infrastructure or engineering projects, ideally within rail, metro, or critical systems environments.
- Solid understanding of SCADA and industrial control systems, including integration across multiple subsystems.
- Familiarity with contract management, commercial structures, and governance in large-scale engineering projects.
- Proven leadership in managing diverse teams across different disciplines and cultures.
- Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP) is advantageous.
