Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Production Management
- Manage precast projects from design development through production, delivery, and erection
- Coordinate with production team to ensure precast elements are manufactured according to approved drawings and schedules
- Monitor production progress, resolve technical or operational issues, and ensure alignment with project timelines
- Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and site teams on production and delivery matters
2. Design Coordination
- Review and coordinate precast design drawings (shop drawings, layout, connection details)
- Work closely with designers, consultants, and internal technical teams to resolve design clashes and constructability issues
- Ensure compliance with C&S requirements, relevant codes, and project specifications
- Manage design changes and assess impact on cost, production, and schedule
3. Quantity Surveying / Costing
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for precast works
- Monitor project costs, variations, and claims
- Evaluate design or scope changes from a cost and commercial perspective
- Ensure cost control measures are in place throughout project execution
- Coordinate with QS and finance teams on billing, variations, and final accounts
4. Contract & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and cost implications
- Manage subcontractors and vendors related to precast works
- Ensure contractual requirements are met
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure precast works comply with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with WSH and QA/QC teams to maintain standards in production and site activities
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
