Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-impact Project Manager to take full ownership of major Oil & Gas EPC projects from initial kick-off through to final handover. As the primary leader, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational success of the project, ensuring that scope, schedule, and cost objectives are met without compromising on safety or quality. This role requires a seasoned professional with the authority to lead multidisciplinary teams and the diplomacy to manage complex stakeholder relationships at a global level.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Leadership: Direct all phases of project planning, execution, and control, maintaining a big picture view while driving detailed technical and commercial performance.
  • Strategic Project Control: Rigorously manage the project scope, critical path schedules, multi-million-dollar budgets, and quality benchmarks in strict accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Primary Client Interface: Serve as the lead point of contact for clients,joint-venture partners, and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Multidisciplinary Integration: Synchronize the efforts of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) teams to achieve a fully integrated and seamless project delivery.
  • Financial & Change Authority: Review and approve project budgets, financial forecasts, change orders, and mission-critical deliverables.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor project health through advanced KPIs and proactively implement corrective actions to mitigate risks or schedule slippage.
  • HSE & Quality Governance: Act as the ultimate champion for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, ensuring 100% compliance with QA/QC and regulatory requirements.
  • Executive Reporting: Lead high-level project reviews and provide comprehensive progress reporting to both corporate management and client leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of robust experience in the Oil & Gas or EPC sector, with a significant and proven track record specifically as a Project Manager on large-scale infrastructure.
  • Deep mastery of EPC project execution models, contract law, and sophisticated project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proven capability to navigate the complexities of'mega-projects with tight deadlines, evolving scopes, andhigh-regulatory environments.
  • Communication: Good at verbal and written communication skills, essential for negotiation and executive-level presentations.
