Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of heritage and museum-related works, including national festivals
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle across multiple initiatives within museums
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, government agencies, vendors, creatives, and community partners to align project objectives.
  • Oversee procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration in accordance with public sector guidelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and engaging heritage experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards for events and exhibitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Arts Management, Heritage Studies, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in heritage, museums, arts, culture, or large-scale events.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end projects, including festivals, exhibitions, or public programmes.
  • Experience working with government agencies or public sector procurement processes is an advantage.
  • Strong project management skills, organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative thinking with an appreciation for cultural and heritage narratives.
