Job Description:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Define project objectives and deliverables with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including scheduling and procurement.
- Lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor work, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and update stakeholders on progress and changes.
- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor and control project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure work complies with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Address and resolve issues or delays proactively.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain documentation of all project activities, changes, and communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Prepare and present project status reports, performance metrics, and post-project evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field (PEB Recognized degree is added advantage)
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
