Project Manager - Insurance
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise application initiatives within the insurance domain. This role is responsible for end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management while collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of system enhancements, upgrades, and service requests for enterprise applications.
- Partner with clients to understand business requirements and define project scope, priorities, and release plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, business analysts, and technical leads.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to manage timelines, scope, and deliverables effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
- Prepare and present accurate project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate project team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure effective resource planning and alignment with project objectives.
- Own project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on application development and enhancement projects.
- Proven hands-on experience managing projects implementing Life400,p400 or Integral etc.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is required.
- Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Java-based applications and enterprise systems.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments with competing priorities
