The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of project development works from conceptualization, design, construction to completion within established budget, schedule and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and liaise with key stakeholders including clients, vendors, consultants, support staff and relevant government authorities.
- Lead the development and affirmation of a detailed Project Brief, establish a Project Delivery Strategy, communication plan and project reporting frameworks aligned with PMO standards.
- Develop and maintain a master project schedule, ensure design progression aligns with the approved budget and cost plan.
- Manage the appointment of Professional Team and oversee consultants to deliver a successful design outcome for the project.
- Manage procurement of early works including the supply and delivery of critical MEP equipment, FF&E to meet the project milestones
- Review the project comprehensively on a weekly basis and prepare detailed reports relating to all aspects of project performance and management
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards in terms of scope, schedule, resource, communication, risk and issue and quality management
- Monitor vendors and suppliers performance to ensure compliance with local regulations and obtain all necessary statutory and development approvals
- Coordinate team resources, resolve conflicts, manage performance, and ensure all plans align with contractual obligations, company policies, and organizational capabilities.
Qualifications and requirements:
- A degree in Architectural, Civil/ Structural/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualifications
- At least 10 years of practical experience in Project Management Services with a good track record in at least one large scale Live building fitting out project.
- Accreditation or Certification in relevant project management
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate and lead matrixed and diverse teams & work independently with a high level of initiative
