Role Overview:

As the Creative Project Manager, you will play a central role in orchestrating the end-to-end lifecycle of all creative campaigns, brand launches, and content productions across BYD by 1826's automotive-lifestyle ecosystem. From digital and social campaigns to print, video, and on-ground activations, you will ensure that every project is strategically scoped, precisely resourced, and flawlessly executed-on time, on brand, and on brief.
Working closely with the Chief Brand Officer, internal creative teams, and external partners, you will clarify and translate complex briefs, guide internal reviews, and manage feedback loops across senior stakeholders. You'll be expected to maintain timelines, project dashboards, and resource allocations while proactively identifying risks, eliminating bottlenecks, and driving process improvements across the board.
In this fast-paced and evolving environment, your ability to balance structure with agility will be key to ensuring BYD by 1826's creative output reflects the innovation and excellence of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Campaign Management

  • Attend and take minutes in external and internal marketing/creative meetings, capturing key action points, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Manage end-to-end project timelines for marketing campaigns, launches, activations and asset creation.
  • Manage team tasks, bandwidth, and resources
  • Translate creative brief and strategic discussions into clear project plans, task lists, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate timelines, meeting schedules, and resource capabilities, ensuring all involved stakeholders are kept informed of progress and any shortfalls
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Drive all assigned projects through the entire lifecycle, including scoping resources for varied project types such as social, digital, print, and video production

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders within BYD by 1826, distributor, and our principal brand.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, status checks, and follow-ups.
  • Proactively flag risks, delays, or dependency issues and propose solutions accordingly.
  • Clarify project requirements, internalise briefs, and collaborate with internal Creative & Marketing teams under CBO to improve and refine them

Approvals & Tracking

  • Coordinate approval workflows across stakeholders and senior management.
  • Seek approvals in a timely and structure manner, ensuring clarity on feedback and next steps.
  • Track all requests, approvals and changes accurately in the relevant chats, logs and project management tools.
  • Maintain clear documentation for accountability and reference.

Tools & Reporting

  • Use project management tools to plan, prioritize and track tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date project dashboards, timelines, and status reports.
  • Provide regular progress updates and summaries to the Chief Brand Officer and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a marketing agency or in-house creative team, with strong familiarity in creative development and production workflows across digital, print, video, and experiential formats.
  • Proven track record of managing diverse projects of varying scale in fast-paced, high-output creative environments.
  • Skilled in managing cross-market campaigns, handling complex production inputs, adapting timelines, and localizing assets for different regions.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Usemotion, Asana, Trello, Notion) is expected.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and conceptual thinking-able to bridge strategy and execution fluidly.
  • Excellent command of English is required with additional proficiency in Chinese preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Agile and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable managing approvals, timelines, and senior stakeholder
