We are looking for an experienced marine professional to join our team in a senior project leadership role, managing vessel repair and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day marine projects
- Afloat repairs
- Lifesaving & fire-fighting inspections
- Offshore projects
- Oversee the full project lifecycle (technical, operational, and commercial aspects)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Prepare quotations, costing analysis, and final project settlement
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors for project execution
- Liaise with shipowners, managers, shipyards, agents, and stakeholders
- Manage manpower deployment and logistics to job sites
- Maintain project documentation, certifications, and ERP records
- Provide technical troubleshooting support when required
- Support training initiatives and continuous improvement in repair methods
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 1st Class Marine Engineer Certificate (COC)
- Former Chief Engineer, Technical Superintendent, or senior onboard engineering professional
- Strong hands-on experience with marine machinery and vessel operations
- Proven project management experience in marine or offshore environments
Preferred Experience
- Afloat repair coordination or shipyard background
- Experience managing repair teams and subcontractors
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond outside office hours when necessary
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an advantage for regional coordination
