About the role
You will work closely with a team of business analysts, solution architects and technical services consultants who are committed to building the ICT capabilities needed for the government to advance Singapore's Smart Nation goals. The role calls for a confident and motivated individual who proactively addresses business challenges, defines project requirements with stakeholders, and guides projects across the full lifecycle. This involves overseeing project procurement, schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to stakeholders. Strong stakeholder and partner management skills are essential. Your success will be shown through your ability to perform well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the preparation of the business case and budget planning for the ICT system.
- Oversee and carry out IT system procurement and audits within required timelines.
- Ensure project execution aligns with the project plan, fulfilling business objectives and success indicators within approved cost, duration and quality limits.
- Spot potential project risks, assess their impact on the organisation, and propose suitable mitigation strategies.
- Manage and collaborate effectively with vendors to deliver ICT services and solutions.
- Understand IT management, quality management, and security policies to ensure development and maintenance processes comply with established standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer/Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience as a Project Manager in at least 2 full project development life cycles
- Project Management experience in the government agencies with good knowledge in IM8 will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
