Position: Project Manager (Mechanical & Electrical /M&E)
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)projects from planning through completion, ensuring timely delivery withinbudget and required quality standards.
Plan, coordinate and supervise project activities, includingmanpower, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
Review project specifications, drawings and contractdocuments to ensure compliance with client requirements.
Monitor project progress and resolve technical, operationaland site-related issues promptly.
Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and internalstakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site inspections, project meetings and progressreviews.
Ensure all works comply with statutory regulations,workplace safety requirements, quality standards and company procedures.
Prepare project schedules, work programmes, methodstatements, risk assessments and project reports.
Manage project costs, variation orders, procurement andsubcontractor performance.
Oversee testing, commissioning, handover and defectrectification works.
Support tender preparation, budgeting and technicalproposals when required.
Mentor and guide project engineers, supervisors and siteteams.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing M&Eprojects.
Good knowledge of ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, ELV and Building Services systems.
Experience in material handling system will be preferred
Familiar with Singapore building regulations, BCA, SCDF, MOMand Workplace Safety requirements.
Experience in A&A, upgrading, refurbishment or IFMprojects will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, planning, communication and stakeholdermanagement skills.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and workunder tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project managementsoftware (MS Project or equivalent). Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred).
WSQ/BCSS or relevant Workplace Safety qualifications.
