About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple lift installation, modernization and maintenance projects. This role is responsible for managing project execution from planning through completion, leading the project team, coordinating site activities, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong project management capabilities, people management experience, and commercial awareness to drive project profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple lift installation, replacement, modernization and maintenance projects simultaneously.
- Lead and supervise the Project Engineers, Project Administrator and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan project schedules, manpower allocation and resource utilization.
- Monitor project progress, quality, safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular project meetings and site inspections to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Review project costs, monitor budgets and ensure healthy project profitability (P&L).
- Track project cash flow, variation orders (VO), claims and cost control.
- Ensure projects are completed on time while meeting quality and contractual requirements.
- Provide guidance, coaching and performance management to project team members.
- Prepare management reports, project updates and performance reviews.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Continuously improve project execution processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the Lift & Escalator industry.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong leadership experience in managing project teams and site personnel.
- Experience in project budgeting, cost control and P&L management.
- Good understanding of Singapore construction practices, BCA regulations and workplace safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning tools.
