Job Description:
BACKGROUND:
- The customer is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Corporate Banking domain knowledge to lead and deliver technology initiatives within the banking environment.
- The role will focus primarily on project management, governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery execution across business and technology teams.
- Experience in Corporate Banking products, operations, and regulatory reporting will be essential for success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Coordinate with Business, IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committee sessions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Support project governance, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Manage vendors, project financials, and resource utilization.
- Drive implementation and transformation initiatives across Corporate Banking domains.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Management or Program Management.
- Proven experience delivering technology, digital transformation, and corporate banking-related projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
- Experience conducting fit-gap assessments against business, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in corporate banking or financial services environments.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with technology, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Corporate Banking Domain such as:
- CASA (Current Account & Savings Account).
- Loans and Lending Products.
- Treasury / Market Products.
- Accounting and General Ledger.
- Payments and Cash Management.
Regulatory Reporting, including:
- MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) reporting requirements.
- JFSA (Japan Financial Services Agency) reporting requirements.
