Position Overview:As a Junior / Associate Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the execution and delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget. You will assist senior project managers in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project progress. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in project management, with exposure to various aspects of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Support: Assist senior project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they meet business objectives and deadlines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery and clear communication of project progress.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Assist in creating project schedules, organizing meetings, and ensuring all project-related activities are on track.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes, and project plans. Help prepare status reports for stakeholders.
- Risk & Issue Management: Monitor project risks and issues, and escalate them to senior management when necessary. Help identify potential challenges and suggest solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Assist in quality control processes where applicable.
- Resource Management: Support in managing project resources, including personnel, tools, and technology, ensuring optimal allocation to meet project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for process improvements, suggesting more efficient ways to deliver projects.
Requirements:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a junior or associate project management role. Fresh graduates with strong internships or relevant project work will also be considered.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team and with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or similar) is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Language: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification (or working towards certification) is a plus.
- Experience: Exposure to managing or supporting technology, construction, or other industry-specific projects is advantageous.
