Job Description

Job Summary

Lead and manage interior design and renovation projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and oversee interior design and renovation projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
  • Coordinate effectively with interior designers, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to align project goals
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans to guide project execution
  • Monitor project progress and enforce compliance with design specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Conduct site visits to supervise installation work and ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage procurement processes for materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes to support project requirements
  • Review and validate drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues, risks, and changes promptly to minimize impact
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and manage expectations effectively
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout projects
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation to track progress and outcomes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience managing interior design, fit-out, or renovation projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and interior finishes
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software such as MS Project and Excel AutoCAD skills are a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Effective communication and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
