Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end IT and engineering project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
- Manage full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Develop and communicate project plans, defining roles, objectives, deliverables, schedules, critical paths, and risks to teams and customers.
- Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and resource allocation to maximize revenue and margin.
- Establish risk management plans and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project changes with impact analysis, resolution, and contingency planning.
- Lead and mentor high-performance project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Maintain proactive relationships with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and managing escalations.
- Support pre-sales activities, including developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with solution teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience managing large-scale IT and engineering integration projects with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of government security standards is a plus.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CITPM, CISSP) preferred.
- Experience in turnkey development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale, multi-platform, multi-vendor IT and engineering systems.
- Proven success managing multi-million-dollar projects in government or commercial sectors.
- Strong skills in project management, service delivery, client relations, planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial management, quality assurance, and negotiation.
- Demonstrated leadership in staff management, motivation, performance appraisal, and professional development.
- Hands-on, proactive, and customer-focused with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
