Responsibilities
- Supervise subcontractors work progress on site according to the project schedule to ensure timely completion
- Lead a team of inspectors to manage incoming, in-process, and finished goods issues promptly and systematically
- Check material quality and workmanship to meet project targets and quality standards
- Assist the project engineer in supervising daily site operations and coordinating structural and architectural works
- Monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities and resolve supplier and subcontractor issues on site
- Ensure site safety by implementing and enforcing safe work procedures to control risks
- Manage and supervise daily operations of a team of migrant workers on site
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid BCSS certificate
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in main contractor companies, preferably with experience handling large HDB projects
- Familiarity with local standards, project implementation processes, and building codes
