About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of Finastra-based banking transformation initiatives for a fast-growing fintech organization building next-generation AI-powered banking solutions.
In this role, you will oversee the implementation, integration, and enhancement of Finastra core banking platforms while working closely with product, engineering, AI, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in delivering complex banking projects that leverage Artificial Intelligence to modernize banking operations, automate workflows, and enhance customer experiences across the full banking software suite.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing Finastra implementation projects, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise banking technology programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Finastra implementation and transformation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage project planning, governance, risk management, resource allocation, and project reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable project plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, AI, QA, Infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
- Oversee integration of Finastra platforms with internal applications, third-party systems, and AI-powered banking solutions.
- Drive project execution across the software development lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
- Manage project dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests while ensuring successful delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and executive stakeholder updates.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, production rollout, and post-implementation activities.
- Work closely with AI and Data teams to enable intelligent automation, AI-driven workflows, and advanced analytics across banking platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish project management best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise banking or financial services technology projects.
- Proven experience managing Finastra implementation, migration, upgrade, or integration projects.
- Strong understanding of core banking systems and banking operations, including deposits, lending, payments, customer onboarding, and digital banking.
- Experience managing complex enterprise software implementations involving multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with one or more Finastra solutions such as Fusion Essence, Fusion Phoenix, Fusion Equation, Fusion Loan IQ, Fusion Trade Innovation, or Fusion Digital Banking.
- Experience working with AI-powered banking platforms, intelligent automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration architectures.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience within fintech, digital banking, or financial institutions is highly desirable.
