Job Summary
Oversee and lead construction projects from initiation to completion, driving project planning, budgeting, team coordination, and quality assurance to deliver successful aluminium/glazing facade projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation, to optimize project execution
- Establish and lead cross-functional teams by defining objectives, assigning responsibilities, and fostering collaboration
- Manage project accounting by tracking expenses, controlling costs, and minimizing financial risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor construction progress against schedules and implement adjustments to maintain timely delivery
- Communicate proactively with contractors and all project stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues
- Facilitate regular status meetings with sub-teams to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment
- Enforce strict adherence to budgetary constraints, quality standards, and safety regulations on site
- Conduct periodic inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with design specifications and safety protocols
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all project documentation for internal and client review
- Identify potential dispute or claim risks related to project design and construction, and implement mitigation strategies
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet quality expectations before submission
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Project Management
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience managing Aluminium/Glazing facade construction projects
- Proficient in interpreting facade drawings and applying QA/QC codes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to organize, plan, and build effective teams
- Proven track record of delivering quality construction projects within budget and schedule constraints
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to respectful work ethics
- Singapore Citizen and Permanent Residence preferred. (Foreigners with relevant experience will also be considered)
