The Project Manager will support the Project Director and Business Director in planning and executing events, leading the initial concept to successful execution and exceeding clients expectations through excellent project management of various lifestyle brand activations.
This role requires excellent independent event-planning skills and the ability to define project milestones and timelines and coordinate internal and external partners to ensure a successful and enjoyable event that meets the defined goals and expectations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Develop event proposal
- Develop a project plan to execute event activation
- Develop cost proposals and responsible projects reconciliation
- Select partners from various disciplines to piece up any experiential items/deliverables, including evaluation of suppliers and services, supplier meeting scheduling, negotiating pricing and master agreements
- Maintain project tracking compliance in project management tools
- Onboarding ad hoc/ onsite staff
- Assist with creative problem solving
- Support projects onsite as needed
- Lead client relationships as required
- Active involvement in the pitch process and delivery
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of work experience in event management, creative agencies or marketing communication agencies
- Project management skills with experience in brand activation, festivals, experiential and production management
- Experience in managing people and processes in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Excellent supplier knowledge and negotiation/supplier management skills
- Creative problem solver and decisive decision maker
- Proven team leader
- Experience working with lifestyle brands
- Technical production knowledge in Sound, Light and Video is a plus.
