We are seeking a Project Manager to lead Out-of-Box Failure (OOBF) and cost-down initiatives at a Singapore-based manufacturing site. The role involves driving cross-functional execution, ensuring timely project delivery, and maintaining alignment with global stakeholders.
Planning & Execution
Develop and manage integrated project plans for OOBF and cost-down initiatives.
Maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Manage change control processes and ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with Systems, Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement corrective and cost optimisation solutions.
Identify and track cost-down opportunities and realised savings.
Ensure alignment between engineering design, manufacturing feasibility, and quality requirements.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact for the client on project matters.
Prepare executive-level updates and reporting materials.
Facilitate governance meetings and maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance & Financial Management
Ensure adherence to client Quality Management Systems (QMS) and safety standards.
Monitor project financials including budget tracking and burn rate.
Support rate card alignment and contracting processes where required.
7 to 10 years of proven project management experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive execution.
Exposure to Systems, Mechanical (ME), or Electrical (EE) engineering domains.
Experience in supplier cost-down initiatives and DFM/DFA practices.
Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
Background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA implementation.
Experience delivering measurable cost-down results.
