About The Team
The main goal of the Engineering Infra TPM team is to deliver value-added and impactful IaaS & PaaS products that increase capabilities and system stability of Shopee cloud native infrastructure platform. Therefore, the TPM team works closely with platform developers, front-end developers, site reliability engineers, machine reliability engineers and other department engineers to continuously improve the development, delivery efficiency, and quality of applications via Shopee infrastructure platform.
Job Description
- Drive execution of complex, cross-functional critical Engineering Infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
- Partner closely with TPM, Platform Engineering , SRE and related engineering infrastructure teams to define execution plans, milestones, and dependencies.
- Identify technical, operational, dependencies, resource constraint risks early; lead mitigation planning and execution to progress platform rollout and delivery timelines.
- Continuously optimize project management processes and templates to improve delivery efficiency and predictability.
- Communicate critical projects status, risks, and trade-offs to management and key stakeholders with clarity and data-driven insights.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in technical platforms or large-scale software engineering systems.
- Proven experience driving complex, multi-dependency projects across multiple teams, with strong execution capability and risk awareness.
- Strong structured thinking and communication skills, with the ability to drive projects to delivery in ambiguous environments and effectively communicate and report at the executive level.
- Familiarity with cloud-native IaaS/PaaS products from major cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Alibaba Cloud).
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus.
