Job Description
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead and oversee all phases of M&E project execution from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are achieved
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and technicians
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure team effectiveness
- Conduct performance evaluations and support team development
Technical Oversight
- Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems
- Resolve technical challenges and provide effective solutions
Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures
- Approve expenditures, progress claims, and variation orders
- Provide financial reports and updates to senior management
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
- Promote a strong safety culture across project teams
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Provide regular project updates and address issues promptly
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and project delivery
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. PMP certification or equivalent will be an advantage
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E project management. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects
- Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, standards, and regulations
