Project Manager (Electrical Systems)

Description

As part of our project management team representing our client, you will be involved in the planning, design and project management of the future Terminal 5 building and its associated facilities. You will be based at the Changi East Project Office, the site of the future Terminal 5 building.

Job Description

The main responsibilities for this position include planning, designing, construction and project management of the electrical, vertical transportation, photovoltaic, electric vehicle charging systems for the Changi East development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the appointed consultant, stakeholders and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget and of the highest quality standard.

Requirements

• Good degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of relevant working experience in:

1. Planning, designing and project management of electrical, vertical transportation, photovoltaic, electric vehicle charging systems and at least 12 years in large scale building development.
2. Possess good experience in design and implementation of high & low voltage power distribution systems, power & lighting distribution and circuiting, earthing, lightning protection, vertical transportation. Photovoltaic and electric vehicle charging systems.
3. Knowledge and experience in power monitoring, control systems, extra low voltage systems (public address, emergency voice communication, integrated building management system), security systems (CCTV surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, security screening), special airport systems (fixed ground services, apron flood lightning, common use technologies) will be an advantage
4. Mechanical, Electric, Plumbing (MEP) project management experience in large and complex projects.

• Good knowledge of the design codes and standards for M&E systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, with assertive and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills
• Proven leadership ability, good team player and able to handle fast paced projects.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
