Project Manager (EHV Substation & Transmission)

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of Extra High Voltage (EHV) substation and transmission projects, taking overall ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of EHV substation/transmission projects, ensuring targets for scope, timeline, cost, and resourcing are met.

• Provide technical leadership across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

• Review and validate engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, regulatory, and client specifications.

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to resolve technical and interface issues effectively.

• Manage suppliers, OEMs, and subcontractors to meet technical compliance, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

• Drive QA/QC and workplace safety standards throughout project execution.

• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for site/technical issues and implement corrective actions.

• Chair technical/co-ordination meetings and ensure timely decision-making with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of power systems relevant to project delivery and operations.

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience (preferably in engineering or power-related projects).

• Proactive, fast learner, and willing to perform outdoor/on-site work when required.

• Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP) is an added advantage.
