A national transformation programme is seeking an experienced project manager to support the delivery of a new enterprise-focused digital wallet and claims platform that support businesses in accessing and utilising government-supported workforce transformation credits through a more responsive and enterprise-centric mechanism.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact digital transformation initiative involving agile product delivery, cross-functional coordination, vendor management, testing, production launch and post-launch stabilisation.
About the role:
- Taking charge of end-to-end delivery, you will maintain and coordinate the integrated project plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and action items.
- Track delivery progress against sprint commitments, release plans and agreed timelines; facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinate cutover, operational readiness, production deployment, post-launch stabilisation and transition to operations teams.
- Work closely with product managers, product owners, UX/UI designers, engineers, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment across product, design, engineering, operations and business teams.
- Monitor vendor performance, deliverables, acceptance milestones and escalations.
- Prepare project status reports, governance papers, steering committee updates and decision materials.
- Maintain accurate records of decisions, risks, issues and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and security assessments.
- Track defects, remediation actions, risk acceptances and release exit criteria.
- Support cybersecurity compliance and risk-management activities.
- Track project budgets, procurement activities, contracts, invoices and payment milestones.
- Support post-production defect triage and transition to business-as-usual operations.
Qualifications:
- You will hold a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Product Management or related disciplines; Scrum Master, Product Owner or Business Analysis certifications will be advantageous
- A minimum of 5 years experience in supporting or managing the delivery of digital systems, platforms or products.
- Proven experience across planning, testing, launch and post-launch stabilisation phases.
- Hands-on experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, vendors, stakeholders and project reporting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to drive actions to closure in a fast-paced environment.
- You will have demonstrated experiences in Agile / Scrum delivery coordination, release and deployment coordination, SIT / UAT / ORT management, vendor and stakeholder management as well as governance reporting and documentation.
- You will also have hands-on experiences with Jira, Confluence and Figma.
