We are looking for a Project Manager to develop a creative vision for the visual elements of projects and guiding a team of designers to deliver high quality creative output. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, initiates, develops and coordinates effective design solutions for all client materials at a senior level. Adds value to our business and our clients delivering graphic materials based on designs. This role will manage end-to-end creative initiative, guiding the creative/design team in the conception, design and execution of visual materials
Job Responsibilities:
- Takes and leads in the development of creative briefs from intake to concept to completion
- Mentors and nurture designers, developing the skills and talents of the creative team members and fosters a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Owns and execute growth and high-priority projects, ensuring they align with the client's vision and objectives
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery in accordance with Best Practice procedures
- Manage the design delivery process, submissions, risk management, planning and progress monitoring whilst also ensuring the client objectives are understood and met
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards, reviewing and approving all design/creative work to ensure it meets client brand's guidelines and project requirements
- Develop and maintain strong client engagements, including regular client meetings and updates on projects
- Responsible for the management and control of all design management tools used on the projects such as schedules and trackers of client requirements
- Under the supervision and assistance of the Design/Creative Director, control the project team to meet the agreed targets and objectives
- Logs all assigned tasks in the job tracking software
- Keep Design/Creative Director appraised and updated on project status as needed
- Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies or additional services for the client
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques, including hardware and software advancement
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Art, Design, Advertising or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience with extensive work in Graphic Design, Visual Communications
- Experience and understanding of working in house on a corporate brand
- Advanced experience with of Adobe CS and Adobe Acrobat in addition to a general understanding of hardware. Software focus may change depending on site/customer requirements
- Proven layout and design capabilities at advanced level
- Strong creative problem-solving skills: Understanding, analyzing and working through a challenge to completion
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
- Knowledge of investment banking compliance and policies would be an advantage
