Project Manager (Design & Fit-Out)

About our client: Our client is a leading Environmental Consultancy based in Singapore, specializing in sustainable infrastructure and environmental management projects.

About the role: The Project Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team comprising financial, contract drafting, engineering, and project management specialists. He/She will be responsible for coordinating the team and managing interactions with key stakeholders. The role requires active participation in technical discussions and physical meetings as necessary to ensure project alignment and delivery.

• Lead and manage the end-to-end process for drafting, evaluating, and awarding the tender for the fit-out contractor to design and implement the Visitor Gallery.

• Incorporate inputs from the client and appointed contractors regarding the Visitor Routes and Administration Building to ensure cohesive design, storyline, and timeline alignment.

• Oversee the fit-out contract management, ensuring smooth coordination between the Visitor Gallery, Visitor Routes, and Administration Building.

• Prepare and present materials to senior management of the Client and MSE to obtain approvals on design concepts, storylines, and project plans.

• Coordinate technical and project management activities, ensuring all project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

• Represent the consultancy in meetings with the clients and other stakeholders, addressing technical, operational, and contractual matters as needed.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to project team members, fostering effective collaboration and high-performance delivery.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 5-8 years of project management experience, preferably in environmental consultancy, infrastructure, or design & build projects.

• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with government agencies or regulatory bodies.

• Strong contract management experience, including tender drafting, evaluation, and administration of design & fit-out contracts.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to senior management.

• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.

• Experience in visitor-centric projects, exhibitions, or public engagement facilities.

• Knowledge of public sectors processes, approvals, and compliance requirements.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
