Job Description

About The Role

We are looking for a structured, proactive, and outward-facing Project Manager to drive the operational delivery and ecosystem growth of Data2Evidence.

In this role, you will ensure that product development, deployments, and partner collaborations run smoothly, on time, and in alignment with strategic goals. Beyond internal coordination, you will actively contribute to business development activities, support new partnership initiatives, and represent Data2Evidence at conferences and industry events.

You will work closely with the Product Manager and the Customer Success Engineer, forming the operational and strategic core of the Data2Evidence team. While the Product Manager defines what we build and why, and the Customer Success Engineer ensures technical partner success, you will ensure reliable execution, strong external relationships, and sustainable growth of our research ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, healthcare research, and partnerships and enjoys turning complexity into structured delivery while confidently representing the product externally.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Own the planning, coordination, and execution of product initiatives and research deployments across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
  • Define timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure reliable delivery.
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation strategies across teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the central coordination point between Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and external research partners.
  • Align internal development cycles with onboarding timelines and research milestones.
  • Provide structured project reporting and stakeholder communication.

Business Development Support & External Representation

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of new research and institutional partners.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation, project scoping, and feasibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess partnership opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Data2Evidence at industry conferences, workshops, and research events to technical and research audiences.
  • Identify emerging trends, collaboration opportunities, and market signals to inform product strategy.

Operational Excellence

  • Continuously improve processes for product operations, release coordination, and deployment workflows.
  • Ensure alignment between sprint cycles, release planning, and partner-facing commitments.
  • Support governance, compliance tracking, and documentation standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, or product operations, ideally within healthcare, research software, or SaaS environments.
  • Project & Delivery Expertise: Strong experience managing cross-functional technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating engineering-driven initiatives involving external partners
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub etc.).
  • Business & Communication Skills: Confidence in representing technical products externally.
  • Experience contributing to partnership development, proposal preparation, or strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to research and executive audiences.
  • Highly structured, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple parallel initiatives.
  • Strong prioritization and risk management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthtech, life sciences, or research software platforms.
  • Experience with conference presentations, workshops, or public speaking.
  • Understanding of cloud and on-premises deployment models.
  • Experience working with open source ecosystems and research collaborations.

Good to know

  • This role requires regular on-site work in our Singapore office.
