About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Project Manager to support our Data Platform organization. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering leaders to drive strategic initiatives, coordinate cross-functional projects, improve operational efficiency, and ensure key programs are delivered on time.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving execution across engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and business teams. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment and communicating with technical teams.
What You'll Do
- Drive end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives within the Data Platform organization.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects across Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and other business teams.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate project planning, sprint planning, roadmap reviews, and regular project status meetings.
- Prepare management reports, project dashboards, executive updates, and presentation materials.
- Identify delivery risks and bottlenecks, proactively driving mitigation plans with stakeholders.
- Drive follow-up on key decisions and ensure action items are executed effectively.
- Support leadership with business planning, strategic initiatives, and operational projects as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Business Operations, Program Management, or a similar role within a technology organization.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical discussions at a high level.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, profient in both English and Chinese to manage chinese speaking stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Data Platform, Data Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Infrastructure, or Backend Engineering teams.
- Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), or modern data platforms.
- Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, financial services, or other fast-paced technology environments.
- PMP, Scrum Master, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications.
