Project manager - Credit risk

Job Description

Project management professional with 8+ years experience in transition of credit-related projects

End-to-end execution, including scoping, transitioning, inter-departmental liaising, preparation of MIS and KPI reporting, holding regular cadence, and stabilizing the migrated activities once transition is completed

Responsible for drafting contracts, finalizing KPIs, getting internal approvals (related-party clearances) and necessary documentation, and setting the rhythm for ongoing governance cadence.

Project Management: Support end-to-end project management, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to SLAs.

Process Adherence: Assist in retaining necessary documentation for audit requirements and ensure process adherence.

Transition and Project Management

Lead end-to-end transition of credit processes and develop detailed transition plans including scope, timelines, resource planning, budgeting plans, risk assessment, and milestones.

Manage multiple concurrent credit transformation projects across geographies, establish governance frameworks, project tracking, and reporting mechanisms.

Prepare KPI reporting templates and Ensure transitions meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality benchmarks.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary liaison between business, credit risk, operations, technology, and leadership teams.

Drive alignment on scope, operating model, and transition readiness.

Change Management and training

Driving structured knowledge transfer and training frameworks and transition playbooks.

Support onboarding and capability building and manage change adoption across stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills

Knowledge of credit risk frameworks and rating methodologies.

Familiarity with banking systems (loan systems, credit workflow tools, risk platforms) and project management tools like Jira.

Strong expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, scrum, Kanban or waterfall.

Exposure to automation, data analytics, or GenAI initiatives in credit domain.

Good oral and written communication skills.
