Project Manager (Construction)

Responsibilities

. Lead end-to-end delivery of airport construction projects or major project packages, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

. Develop and manage detailed project plans, construction schedules, and resource allocations in coordination with engineering, planning, and site teams.

. Oversee on-site construction activities, monitoring progress against milestones and resolving technical, operational, and schedule issues proactively.

. Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure contractual compliance and smooth site execution.

. Control project costs, cash flow, variations, and claims, identifying opportunities for cost recovery and value optimisation.

. Maintain strong working relationships with airport authorities, clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

. Ensure strict compliance with aviation safety requirements, workplace safety regulations, and environmental standards.

. Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

. Prepare and present regular project progress reports, forecasts, and risk updates to senior management and stakeholders.

. Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, fostering a high-performance, safety-driven, and delivery-focused culture.

Requirements

. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline professional registration is an advantage.

. Minimum 10-15 years of construction project management experience, preferably in airport, aviation, or large infrastructure projects.

. Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, cost control, and project planning.

. Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, including airport operators, government agencies, and consultants.

. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate in complex, high-risk environments.
