Project Manager (Construction / Structural & Facade Works)
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee overall project construction management, including planning, resource allocation, and site preparation.
- Manage project quality and safety, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate and manage local subcontractors (e.g., scaffolding) and labor teams.
- Lead local procurement activities, including supplier selection, price negotiation, and contract management.
- Coordinate international logistics and customs clearance to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Manage warehouse operations and material planning, ensuring efficient usage and inventory control.
- Coordinate internal resources and maintain effective communication with overseas/headquarter engineering teams.
- Provide regular updates to management on project progress, cost control, and risk management, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage structural and faade (curtain wall) works, including interface coordination between structural systems and faade installation.
- Understand construction details and installation logic between steel/aluminum or concrete structures and faade systems, identifying technical risks and proposing optimization solutions.
- Review construction method statements and conduct technical briefings to ensure quality and safety of key activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Over 8 years of experience in engineering project management, capable of independently handling the full project lifecycle.
- Familiar with construction organization, quality control, and safety management systems experience in overseas projects is preferred.
- Possess local procurement coordination skills and be able to communicate and negotiate with suppliers.
- Knowledgeable about international transportation and customs clearance processes, with basic logistics management experience.
- Flexible, with strong execution ability, and capable of proactively coordinating with domestic and international departments and personnel.
- Must have project management experience in structural engineering and curtain wall systems, with hands-on experience in coordinating steel/aluminum structures or main structures with curtain wall systems.
- Familiar with structural construction processes and the complete management logic of curtain wall detailing, fabrication, and installation able to effectively identify risks in overlapping structural and curtain wall construction.
- Preference for candidates with full project experience in curtain wall or steel/aluminum structure projects, capable of controlling key construction quality checkpoints and technical risks.
