Job Responsibilities
- Lead project planning by developing detailed schedules, incorporating key milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation strategies.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of scope, timeline, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress using BIM models, digital dashboards, and automated reporting systems for transparency and efficiency.
- Utilise predictive analytics and AI-driven forecasting tools to optimise project planning and improve scheduling accuracy.
- Use Construction IQ and AI-powered risk assessment tools to identify and mitigate potential project risks related to cost, schedule, quality, and compliance.
- Establish early warning systems through key risk indicators (KRIs) and automated alerts to notify stakeholders of deviations from the project plan
- Maintain a continuous risk assessment framework that enables real-time adjustments in resource allocation, scheduling, and execution strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing regular, data-driven progress updates and maintaining transparent communication.
- Integrate sustainability KPIs into project planning, tracking energy efficiency, carbon footprint, and material lifecycle performance.
- Financial and procurement oversight
- Project handover and post-project evaluation
- Mentor and develop project team members through one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and career development planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in project management within the construction or built environment sector.
- Familiarity with project risk management and contract management.
- Strong understanding of Green Building Standards (and sustainability compliance.
- Proven experience in data-driven project management, preferably in the built environment sector.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address project delays, budget overruns, and compliance issues.
- Leadership & business management skills
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software
