Role Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all installation operations across the Asia region, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. The role manages the full lifecycle of installation projects from bid support and solution design through to installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance while maintaining strong customer relationships and project profitability.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Asia installation operations are delivered in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner
- Supervise solution design for installation opportunities from bid stage through to implementation and customer acceptance
- Ensure CRS equipment and systems are supplied, installed, and commissioned in accordance with customer specifications and CRS guidelines
- Maintain profitability across Asia installation projects through effective cost and resource management
- Provide leadership and direction to installation personnel, fostering a safe, high-performance work environment
- Always ensure compliance with safe and correct work practices
- Design and implement technical solutions to meet application and customer requirements
- Oversee installation activities to ensure CRS solutions operate effectively and meet quality standards
- Coordinate efficient deployment of installation technicians in response to customer and project requirements
- Manage all aspects of supply, procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers for major projects
- Monitor project expenditure and approve creditor invoices in line with budgets
- Maintain strong customer relationships and goodwill during installations and service activities
- Provide product application and technical support to Sales and Business Development teams
- Liaise closely with business development personnel to share updates on customer feedback, opportunities, and issues
- Escalate service complaints to management and implement remedial actions where required
- Provide regular reporting and feedback to management on project status, risks, and performance
- Contribute to company policy development, including recommendations on product lines and pricing
- Identify new growth opportunities, technologies, and potential partners, providing insights to the business
Roles Requirements:
- Proven installation or project management experience, ideally within the ICT, technology, or datacentre sector
- Experience servicing datacentre clients and facilities highly desirable
- Qualifications in an appropriate Electrical trade or Engineering discipline
- Strong ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with excellent time management and planning skills
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong conceptual and commercial awareness with a mature management approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to analyse and resolve complex issues in a structured and systematic manner
- Ability to work effectively within a small team and adapt to changing business requirements
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
