Project Manager - Cloud

Project Management:

- Develop detailed project plans with clearly defined timelines, deliverables and success criteria.

- Manage full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.

- Track and report progress to leadership and stakeholders, managing risks and resolving issues.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during the implementation process.

- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between engineering, operations, cybersecurity and business units.

Technical Oversight:

- Work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment with private cloud standards (e.g. OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes).

- Ensure infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD integration, identity management and compliance frameworks are in place.

Vendor and Resource Management:

- Coordinate with vendors, cloud service providers and third-party integrators as needed.

- Manage internal and external team resources to ensure workload balancing and task completion.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Oversee adherence to data sovereignty, privacy and security requirements.

- Ensure all activities comply with enterprise policies and industry best practices

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or software deployment projects, with at least 3 years in cloud environments.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified preferred

- Hands-on familiarity with private cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, Red Hat, Nutanix).

- Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies; hybrid delivery model experience is a plus.

- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC), containers, automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and service orchestration.

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Adept at change management in high-security or regulated environments.
