Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and execution of a large-scale subscriber migration programme. The role will act as the central coordination point across technical, operational, commercial, customer and partner workstreams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing programme governance, coordinating cross-workstream dependencies, maintaining visibility of risks and issues, and ensuring that key stakeholders remain aligned throughout migration readiness, execution and post-migration stabilisation.

This is a project coordination and orchestration role. Individual workstream leads will retain accountability for delivery within their respective domains. The Project Manager will ensure that activities are appropriately sequenced, dependencies are identified and managed, decisions are surfaced promptly, and progress is transparently reported to the Client.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Migration Readiness

• Review and assess migration readiness plans developed by individual workstream leads.
• Identify gaps, risks, cross-workstream dependencies and areas requiring further alignment.
• Consolidate technical and operational workstream plans into an integrated and sequenced migration readiness view.
• Coordinate the activation and development of customer, marketing and partner communications readiness activities.
• Facilitate working-level meetings and workshops to drive alignment across workstreams.
• Track outstanding actions and ensure issues requiring management or Client decisions are clearly escalated.
• Establish and maintain programme governance.
• Support the Client in establishing a clear view of overall migration readiness ahead of the migration trigger.

Migration Execution Coordination

• Coordinate the sequencing and cadence of migration activities across technical, operational, customer, commercial and partner workstreams.
• Maintain an integrated view of migration progress against the agreed migration plan.
• Identify and proactively manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, assumptions and issues.
• Maintain a continuously updated RAID log and ensure actions are routed to the appropriate accountable workstream lead.
• Facilitate regular cross-functional migration meetings and execution checkpoints.
• Monitor progress and highlight slippage, emerging risks and critical dependencies to the relevant workstream lead and Client SPOC.
• Coordinate inputs from workstream leads into consolidated programme reporting.
• Maintain visibility of key decisions, actions and outstanding matters throughout each migration tranche.
• Support the Client in maintaining alignment across stakeholders during migration execution.

Recipient Network Provider Liaison

• Act as the Client's external coordination liaison with the recipient network provider.
• Coordinate scheduling and information exchange between the Client and recipient network provider.
• Support alignment of migration execution windows, milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate the flow of information required to support migration activities.
• Escalate unresolved matters to the Client and relevant workstream leads.
• Support, but do not independently undertake, commercial negotiations with the outgoing or recipient network provider.

Migration Tranche Management

• Coordinate the overall execution schedule and key checkpoints.
• Ensure relevant workstreams are aligned on activities, dependencies and timing.
• Track progress during the migration window and facilitate issue escalation where required.
• Consolidate workstream updates into a tranche-level migration summary.
• Record key decisions, execution outcomes, open issues and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate the transition from migration execution into the post-migration stabilisation period.

Post-Migration Stabilisation

• Coordinate information flow across workstreams during the stabilisation period.
• Consolidate workstream inputs into a closing status view.
• Track outstanding issues and actions through to the agreed closure point.
• Facilitate final coordination and reporting for each migration phase or tranche.
• Capture key decisions, lessons learned and outstanding follow-up matters for the Client

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in programme management, project management, PMO or transformation delivery.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-workstream programmes.
• Experience in telecommunications, network migration, customer migration, digital transformation or similarly complex operational programmes.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating technical and operational workstreams.
• Strong experience in programme governance, RAID management, status reporting and executive stakeholder management.
• Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders, including third-party service providers or technology partners.
• Strong understanding of programme dependencies, critical paths, milestones and execution sequencing.
• Strong ability to identify issues early, drive follow-up actions and escalate matters appropriately.
