Job Summary
Lead and manage project teams to deliver civil engineering projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance with environmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to deliver civil engineering projects on schedule and within budget
- Organize, direct, coordinate, and motivate project team members to achieve project goals
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and progress updates to meet targets
- Establish work breakdown structures and budgets aligned with cost estimates for effective cost control
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to project team operations and methods
- Manage site subcontractors within financial authority limits to ensure quality execution of obligations
- Report project status, including cost and progress, to the Project Director regularly
- Oversee manpower management, enforce safety policies, and address environmental issues related to project works
- Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and standards
- Maintain accurate records of variation orders and extensions of time
- Collaborate with the Construction Department to produce monthly progress reports
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by top management and Project Director
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent professional degree
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction project management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Managerial experience specializing in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering
