Job Summary
Lead and manage civil and structural engineering projects by preparing quality documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and schedule requirements to achieve successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to oversee project lifecycles and ensure technical accuracy throughout project phases
- Prepare and maintain all quality system documentation including Project Execution Plans, Project Quality Plans, and method statements to support project standards
- Collaborate with consultants to conduct design analysis, secure approvals, and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Lead regular project meetings with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to align efforts and meet project objectives
- Plan, monitor, and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Required competencies and certifications
- Recognized degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in building and civil works in Singapore
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and project controls
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Accreditation with the Society of Project Managers of Singapore under the Accreditation of Project Manager scheme
- Strong written and oral communication skills demonstrated through effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration
- Demonstrated leadership qualities fostering a team-oriented mindset
