1. Project Lifecycle Management
Planning & Definition:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to clearly define project scope, goals, and deliverables, always keeping the customer first in mind to drive value
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed tasks, realistic timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Identify and secure all necessary resources (human, financial, technical) required for successful project execution, taking ownership of resource needs.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and proactively develop robust mitigation strategies.
Execution & Monitoring:
- Lead and motivate diverse project teams, effectively assigning tasks and providing
clear guidance for efficient execution, fostering a spirit of collaboration. - Continuously monitor project progress, track key milestones, and identify any deviations from the plan, implementing corrective actions with an impact-driven mindset.
- Manage change effectively by implementing robust change management processes to pt to evolving project requirements.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, address impediments, and make informed, timely decisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to established project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), strategically leveraging Agile principles for iterative development and continuous improvement where appropriate.
Quality & Closure:
- Ensure all project deliverables consistently meet defined quality standards and fully satisfy stakeholder requirements, with a focus on customer first quality.
- Conduct comprehensive post-project evaluations to assess effectiveness, document lessons learned, and inform improvements for future project outcomes, driving continuous innovation
- Oversee the formal closure of projects, including thorough documentation, seamless handover to operational teams, and meticulous archiving.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Communication Hub:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, ensuring transparent and timely updates to both internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and challenges, demonstrating ownership of communication
Engagement & Alignment:
- Proactively engage with diverse stakeholders, deeply understanding their perspectives, integrating their needs, and effectively managing expectations to ensure project alignment and secure vital buy-in, always prioritizing the customer first
- Collaboration: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with all parties involved, promoting open dialogue and mutual understanding.
Financial & Resource Stewardship
Budget Management:
- Accurately manage project budgets, meticulously track expenditures, and ensure all financial objectives are met, demonstrating fiscal ownership. Resource Optimization: Allocate and optimize resources efficiently to maximize productivity, maintain cost-effectiveness, and achieve project goals with an impact-driven approach. Procurement & Contracting: Apply sound understanding of procurement processes and contract management to secure necessary external resources and services.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master's Degree or MBA is a plus
- At least 5+ years of proven experience in IT project management, with a robust track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexities, ideally within the integrated resorts, hospitality, or entertainment industry. Extensive hands-on experience working in Agile environments, including practical familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative methodologies.
