Lead end-to-end delivery of AML/KYC and regulatory compliance projects across global or regional banking operations.
Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources effectively.
Engage with key stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations, IT, and external regulators.
Translate complex business requirements into clear project plans with measurable deliverables.
Ensure alignment with internal control policies, audit standards, and regulatory expectations (e.g., FATF, FinCEN, FCA, MAS).
Oversee implementation of new KYC onboarding platforms, AML transaction monitoring systems, or remediation programs.
Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and communication.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives across compliance and operational risk frameworks.
Lead steering committees, working groups, and regular stakeholder updates to track progress and remove roadblocks.
Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
Key Requirements:
10+ years of experience in project management within the banking or financial services sector.
8+ years of proven expertise in Anti Money Laundering (AML), KYC, Transaction Monitoring , Currency Transaction Reporting , Customer Due Diligence (CDD), SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) etc.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, cross-border regulatory programs or system implementations.
PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification preferred.
Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and hybrid delivery models.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
