Project Manager - AML

Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) to lead our projects in the Southeast Asia region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing AML-related projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage AML projects from initiation to completion within the SEA region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with AML regulations and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential AML risks associated with business activities.
• Develop and implement AML strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Provide training and support to team members on AML compliance and project management processes.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

Education:

·      Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.

·      At least 10 years relevant experience preferably in a Information Technology.

Essential:

• Project management experience in AML domain
• 10 or more years of banking experience
• Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
• Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
• Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverable, dependencies, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders
• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
• Own the full project life cycle end to end
• Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives
• Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Manage the day-to-day project activities, including project management working and steering committees
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

·      UOB Previous Experience

·      FMF Verify Web / Firco Continuity v5 (minimum – preferably v6)

• ·      10 years of Project Management Experience.
