Project Manager – AML / FircoSoft & WLM Implementation

Role Summary

The Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of AML Watchlist Management (WLM) and FircoSoft solution implementations across APAC for Mizuho. This role ensures structured governance, timeline/effort control, stakeholder management, and coordinated delivery across NTT Data Japan, LexisNexis/Firco, and local country teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full project lifecycle from mobilisation discovery design implementation UAT cutover.

Manage multi-country AML/WLM implementation plan including dependencies, risks, RAID, and client governance.

Coordinate with NTT Data Japan SMEs supporting existing Mizuho AML systems.

Orchestrate alignment between:

AML BA

Integration Architect

WLM Product Consultants

Country-specific Operations teams

Establish delivery cadence (SteerCo, PMO, weekly progress, dashboard reporting).

Ensure alignment with APAC regulatory expectations (MAS, HKMA, AUSTRAC).

Manage scope change, effort baselining, contract alignment, resource planning.

Ensure high-quality documentation (SDS, ICD, mapping sheets, migration plan, test strategy).

Oversee readiness of list ingestion, list enrichment, watchlist governance and operational workflow.

Required Skills & Experience

1015 years in AML programme delivery; 5+ years in FircoSoft (FSC/FCC/WLM).

Deep understanding of Watchlist Management lifecycle (import, cleanse, merge, enrich, publish).

Experience managing multi-country AML/Screening programmes.

Strong regulatory & sanctions screening domain knowledge.

Proven track record delivering projects jointly with LexisNexis/Firco OEM.

Strong communication and executive interfacing with CISO, FCC, Compliance stakeholders.
