Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of M&E and cleanroom fit-out projects from award through handover. You will manage project scope, budget, schedule, and quality while coordinating closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of M&E/cleanroom construction projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to specification
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and manpower/resource plans
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities (e.g. BCA, FM Global approvals where applicable)
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, including tendering, quotation review, and contract administration
- Chair and drive project coordination group (PCG) meetings, tracking action items to closure
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve site issues, and manage variation orders/claims
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality (QMS), and statutory requirements
- Prepare progress reports and updates for management and clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in M&E, cleanroom, or industrial/aerospace facility construction
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or related field
- Familiarity with BCA regulations and cleanroom/M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection) preferred
- Strong stakeholder management, budgeting, and scheduling skills
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Project) and QMS documentation
- Able to work on-site and manage multiple stakeholders under tight timelines
- Good communication and leadership skills
